For the moment, the best way to go forward is to explore. Find wind turbines, solar panels and batteries. This will be enough do you for the early days. Early game: find 2 Aluminum and then spend your bytes to unlock a Tractor & print it out and go scavenging. Eventually you can unlock and add multiple Trailers & Medium Storage for more space.
