Sound cut out randomly. So this has happened to me twice now. Playing the game, then suddenly no sound from it. I have sound from other applications, just not FF14. First time it happened quitting to desktop and relogging fixed it, second time it did not. Read some things from a couple years ago but none of them seem to apply to me.So, all of a sudden, my VLC keeps cutting out audio at regular intervals which are around 5.5 seconds. The video playback is completely fine, but the audio, standalone or part of the video, cuts out after 5.5 seconds of real-time playing.
