As far as ground clearance goes, if you up from 25s to 28s that is only 1 1/2 inches more ground clearance as you only get 1/2 of the 3 inches of bigger tires, but it is a game of inches and 1 1/2 is better than nada. While the atv is still running, manually shift it back in to neutral and shut it off. It should be reset once you turn it back on and re start. Thats how mine was until i replaced the sensor. Be sure to use dielectric grease on the sensor plug.
