If you have the weapon & right ammo in your inventory, press ESC to bring up the menu, click on "inventory," then click on "weapon" & drag your weapon to one of the slots 0-9. Then, click on ammo & drag the right ammo to a small square box next to the weapon slot. It should now be equipped. Press ESC again to exit the menu.Leave the locker and put the stuff you want into your active inventory then slide them into a numbered slot. Weapons range in different sizes and shapes in Way of the Hunter. Weapons are put in different hunting tiers and each tier needs a different tiered animal incorrelation with each other. If a weapon is tier 5 you'll need use it on a tier 5 animal to kill that animal effectively. If not, the animal won't die or the bullet won't penetrate the animal.
