A 4x4' baler will want a bare, absolute minimum of 50 hp, and 60 would be the real functional minimum. 70 makes them work pretty good (you'll get the capacity from the baler). I use it to load/unload rd bales,pull my Vermeer 7030 disc cutter & backup tractor for my H&S hi-cap rake. All this depends on IF I get enough rain to make hay. Don't see any 4 series bales but I assume they are the same design as the corresponding 5 series Deere balers. My 105HP Kubota is a good match for my 856A. Don't think I'd want any less tractor though :idea: IIRC the baler owner's manual calls for 95PTO HP. So I'd guess 65 would be in the ballpark for a 4' wide baler.Created Date: 8/1/2016 11:08:51 PM
