We had an 8430 (blew motor and top shaft in trans), 8630 (blew a 2 speed every year), 8640 (no significant probs), & 8450 (no significant probs) over the years. 30 series reliability was very poor for us, but I think they got the bugs out in the 40 series.The John Deere 6400 is a 4WD (4x4) farm tractor.
