Kenmore gas dryer does not heat
Dryer heats initially, heat turns off, then grows cold. I have a 12 yr old GE gas dryer (Model DWSR483GA2WW) that has been working for years. Just recently, it stopped working correctly. I see the following blog (for a different type of dryer of a very similar problem) suggesting to replace the Gas Valve SolenoidsOn electric dryers, the thermal fuse is often located on the blower housing or near the heating element.
