It will not set the same code for camshaft sensor error, that has its own set of codes for crankshaft errors. The first thing you need to verify on a no-start condition is fuel pressure, so hook up a scan tool and check for any DTC codes. There are a few that might pop up, including a P0087 which indicates low fuel rail pressure. Mine was loosing prime and would either stall or not start. I did 2 things to fix the problem. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem. Someone makes a billet bleed screw. Truck will start sometimes "maybe once a day" but two long crank cycles, once it's turned off it will not start again without starting fluid. Runs great otherwise. Had a p0087 code , deleted filter and put airdog 165 on. Put new injector return lines and regulator on, vacuum switch and fuel pressure sensor.
