Now that the leak is fixed (I hope) and some of the fluid/oil came out, I think it would be best to refill it. What type of fluid/oil goes in the NP205....

My silver Oct made 77 with a 351M/C-6/NP-205 gets 80/90 gear oil in the xfer case. The "Shadow" told me to do it. lol. Keep in mind the automatic tranny stuff is pressurized, while the t-case is not. That just means that if a seal does let loose, you get a little auto tranny fluid in the gear lube (won't really hurt ... The NP205 is supposed to use cat pee (gear oil).
