Napa makes a premium Hyd fluid that says it exceeds permatran III specs. Some people on other forums say do not use it. I do no understand why? If it exceeds the specs than why not? Perma-tran 821xl is the most recent formulation of it. Before that was Perma-tran III, and before that Perma-tran II. lately we've been using the trans/hydraulic fluid from TSC and fleet farm in our Massey 165 & 285. Works just fine.
