I can blow into the fuel pulse line and get fuel to pump out. Also did a vacuum check on the pump and it looked good. It seems like the carb is not pulsing the pump. 2007 fuel pump assembly. I have a 2007 Polaris sportsman x2 800 efi that has had the fuel pump assembly removed and a GM pump dropped in it without a cover to stop the gas from splashing out. I’m trying to find a pump assembly to replace it but Polaris has discontinued it. All the ones that I am finding install with the thread on retaining but.

Those pumps go bad all the time. Pull the pulse line and see if any fuel comes out. None should, if any fuel comes out of the pulse line the diaphragm is torn. The diaphragm can also harden and now pump strong enough.
