Remington 552 speedmaster bolt assembly
Hello, Problem: I have a Remington Speedmaster 552 22Cal. rifle that would jam after 3 or 4 shots. I cleaned it spotless, that did not help. I tried different ammo that did not help either. Fix: I found a small about pin head size metal burr in one of the two channels the "Ejector" slides in on the "Bolt Assembly".1997 posts · Joined 2006. #2 · Jul 5, 2008. Once you take the take down screw out of the bottom of the foreend, the entire barrel assembly, bolt, magazine housing, forend and all should just pull straight forward out of the receiver in one unit. The rear of the forend needs to drop a little to clear the bushing when you pull it forward.
