As for removing it, it is an SB Tactical SBA3 brace. Just pull down on the adjustment lever (as opposed to pressing it up to adjust the brace) and pull the brace off the buffer tube. Apr 7, 2020 · The deal is, I paid for real SBA3 not a clone! This was purchased on the EE. I was on the AR pistol forum, a photo caught my eye. The roll pins on the lever lock look silver and just two hairs larger, the one I have are black roll pins. The photos are of older models and it's hard to tell on the SB tactical's web site. Beyond the closed position, the brace’s second point is 8.125 inches, and the last position is 9.375 inches in length overall. The SBPDW is made almost entirely of metal versus the SBA3, which is primarily a polymer design.
