PhoSheez • 2 yr. ago. For a road ultra the Clifton is a great choice. Really focus on making sure it’s comfortable for you over at least one long run prior and works for your feet. Sometimes a polarizing fit for many, but for those it works for it’s solid. It can handle light trail, but mostly stick to road.Nimbus 24’s are great on treadmill or for walking, but zero pep for running. Novablast 3 is good for running. There is no best model as they all have different functions. But there are the top tier shoes for each function. I'm not familiar with their walking lineup, but you can't go wrong with the Gel Nimbus 25.

It's a gimmick -- a beautiful and expensive gimmick. For running, the On "clouds" are very firm and stiff, and yet provide little energy return.
